THEMIS Level 2 SST file info:
Solid State Telescope (SST): Ground-processed electron and ion energy fluxes (ions/electrons, 30 keV to greater than 300 keV) and moments (density, velocity, pressure, and temperature). The file includes FULL and BURST mode data. Both FULL and BURST modes have high angular resolution, but early in the mission, (2007-2008) full mide data did not always have high (3 second) time resulution, so BURST mode variables are present. For the bulk of the mission, FULL mode has both high time and angular resolution, and there are no burst mode variables. Velocity moments are given in Despun Spacecraft (DSL), Geocentric Solar Eclipse (GSE) and Geocentric Solar Magnetospheric (GSM) coordinates.
